I am a gemmologist and beading enthusiast with experience in the Fine Jewellery industry. I started my business because I had been making jewellery for about 12 years and was looking for beads and findings that were a bit more unusual and interesting than the products that I could find locally. I was frustrated by seeing all the yummy beads available in the American magazines and wanted some for myself. My search led me around the world but I found the quantities were more than I could afford for "just a hobby" (actually, I admit it IS an obsession!). I realised that I would have to get serious and start my own business.

I have been operating for about 18 months, first at Carlton and now at my present address at Penshurst. I now have many customers who have been very loyal to me (thankyou to all) and who are telling their friends about me. I am very happy to say that I regularly have customers say to me "You have such a wonderful range of beads and findings" because that is what I am aiming for. I have a good range of basics and stock beads and findings that are a bit out of the ordinary, rather than products that you can find everywhere else. We have also just started PMC (Precious Metal Clay) classes and will be stocking those products as well.
